BOYS IN THE PREP SCHOOL ARE ISA CHAMPIONS FOR SECOND YEAR RUNNING!!!

 

 NEW SCIENCE LAB ON THE WAY FOR THE PREPARATORY SCHOOL in 2008!!!

The Preparatory School is eagerly awaiting the brand new Science Laboratory that is being built in the School later this year. It will provide a special opportunity for children of primary school age to experience science in a real laboratory! The children are all excited about the news and can't wait to begin experimenting!!

 CONGRATULATIONS TO THE PTA!!

The PTA auction night in May 2007 was a great success, raising an amazing 2400 pounds for the School.

Thank you to all those who donated the excellent items for the auction and thank you to all those involved - the School now has enough money to buy the new minibus!!

U11 BOYS WIN ISA NORTHERN REGION FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS, FEB 2007

The Under 11 boys won the ISA Northern Region 5-a-side football competition held at St James' School on Monday 5th February 2007. They beat Prenton Prep (Liverpool) 4-0, St. Martin's 'B' 1-0, St. Martin's 'A' 3-1, drew with Hull Collegiate 2-2 and beat Argyle House 3-0 and St. James' 'B' 1-0, coming top of the Round-Robin group. This meant a final against Hull Collegiate (who came second in the group) and what a game it was. The final was 1-1, after golden goal extra time - this meant penalties. Hull scored their first two and St James' missed theirs but after 5 penalties it was all level 3-3. It then went to sudden death and St. James' won when Hull had a penalty saved. The boys were fantastic all through the competition. The team was;
