Facility Hire

''

St. James’ School is ideally situated within walking distance of Grimsby Town centre and also within short driving distance of the seaside resort of Cleethorpes. We are also within walking distance of the local railway station and the local Humberside International Airport is just a 30 minute drive.

The accommodation and setting is available for hire for a range of activities:

Accommodation
  • Bedroom accommodation is available for large parties of up to 60 and smaller groups
  • Ample showers and bathrooms
  • Accommodation can be self-catering or include meals; dining facilities are available in the boarding house (for small groups only) or main School. Catering is of the highest standard, and all dietary requirements can be met
  • Boarding House includes TV lounge, games area and BBQ facilities set in the school grounds
Conference Facilities
  • A range of classrooms, 2 halls and additional large conference size rooms to provide flexible accommodation
  • All rooms are supported by training aids such as white boards and facilities exist for electronic training aids
Information Technology Centre
  •  Two modern IT rooms containing 30 Networked PCs in total, one with an Interactive Whiteboard
Language Schools
  • A popular venue for Language Schools
  • Within close proximity of Pleasure Island theme park and various other tourist attractions for recreational activities
  • Offers flexible working accommodation with classroom and use of sports fields
Sports Facilities
  • 2 large sports fields, off site
  • Hard tennis courts, off site
  • Swimming pool, available for use however not private use, off site
Drama Groups
  • Stage within the Markham Hall with lighting
  • Additional rooms available
