Fantastic aviator experience for Senior pupils at Humberside airport

Bee Future Aviators gave the pupils at St. James’ a fantastic opportunity to experience a future career in the aviation industry on Saturday 24th November. With the support of the POM Flying Club, Humberside Airport and the Search and Rescue Centre, pupils were able to fly over the Humber region, with some of the pupils even taking the controls for a short period of time. They also had a full tour of the Search and Rescue Centre, experiencing what it was like to be winched and discussing possible careers with both the pilots and the helicopter support team. All of them went away with a memento of a truly memorable day which i am sure has inspired many of them to consider future careers in the aviation industry.

St. James’ is the first school in this region to partner with Bee Future Aviators to provide such a fantastic experience for its pupils and more sessions are being planned for the new year.
