Caddy Daddies Clinch PTA Trophy

 

Nine teams of four players contested this year’s PTA Golf AM-AM, which was held at Waltham Windmill Golf Club, on Friday 24^th September, 2010.

 

Driving rain throughout the morning, meant that the event had been in doubt. Thankfully, however, the rain stopped five minutes before the noon tee-off and the weather remained dry, albeit with a testing wind, for most of the afternoon.

 

The scoring was extremely close, with eight of the teams separated by only 9 points. In the end, it was the last team to come in, that clinched the trophy, by a three point margin. As captain of the Caddy Daddies, Andrew Gillett becomes the first captain to win the trophy for a second time. Congratulations go to him and his team of Roger France, Simon King and Rob King.
