Pupils at St. James' enjoy tremendous opportunities to become involved with competitive sport whether at House, School or District/Regional level.

Both the Prep School and the Senior School run a full program of Inter-House sports for all age groups, click here to view all activities taking place this week.

 

 

  Boys' competitions:

- Football - 7-a-side Rugby
- Hockey - Swimming
- 6-a-side Cricket - Athletics
- Tennis - Volleyball
- Cross Country - Indoor 5-a-side Football
- Table-Tennis    

 

Girls' competitions:

- Hockey - Tennis
- Netball - Cross Country
- Football - Table-Tennis
- Rounders - Volleyball
- Swimming - Indoor 5-a-side Football
- Athletics    

 

Each pupil is encouraged to support their House and to participate fully.
 
We also enjoy a full programme of inter-school fixtures against Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Lincolnshire State Schools as well as some of the more local independent schools.

We run boys' teams covering all age-groups in Football, Rugby, Cross Country, Athletics, Cricket, Tennis, Swimming and girls' teams in Hockey, Netball, Swimming, Athletics, Tennis and Cross Country. Many of our pupils earn the chance to perform at district level and at regional/national level through ISA competitions when they compete in some first class arenas.

Pupils from Reception have games and swimming lessons built into the timetable also.
