Introduction

Today, St. James' School offers warmth, friendship and individual attention, all too often lacking in more impersonal and larger establishments. Benefiting from smaller class sizes, students can receive individual guidance within a challenging atmosphere, leading each individual to achieve their full potential.
We have a strong academic tradition, but also believe in the development of the whole person in a social, spiritual and physical sense. We are aware that each student needs regular guidance and support to develop and to this end, we endeavour to help everyone in finding their own strengths and improve their weaknesses. This is a particular objective of the Sixth Form where taking responsibility is strongly encouraged.

The confidence, reliability and self-discipline that our students develop will carry them throughout their life.
