St. James' School is a registered Trinity Examination Centre. With Trinity testing, students can gain an English language qualification to prove their proficiency in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Trinity has over 70 years’ experience of setting standards in English language assessment. Half a million learners each year benefit from earning one of our qualifications, which are highly valued by colleges, universities and employers all over the world.
Trinity's Integrated Skills in English (ISE) examinations assess all four language skills – Speaking, Writing, Listening and Reading – interacting with each other as they do in the real world.
Students attending St. James' International intensive English course will complete the ISE course and examinations.
The examinations include a portfolio element. By taking classroom work into account as well as tasks carried out under examination conditions, a wide and varied sample of learner work is taken fully into account.
There are four levels: ISE 0, ISE I, ISE II, ISE III and ISE IV.
