Maintenance Assistant

We are currently searching for a skilled and motivated individual to take on the role of Maintenance Assistant to join our Maintenance Team. Do you have what it takes to be part of our team?

About the Role and You

Contract type: Part-time, all year round

Working pattern: Flexible, zero-hour contract

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Start date: Immediate start available

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Painting and decorating.
  • Gardening, general housekeeping and performing landscape duties or supervising others in these roles.
  • Performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks as directed by Head.
  • Ensuring that the maintenance and Health and Safety aspects of the school are compliant.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A relevant and up-to-date Health and Safety qualification.
  • Experience in a similar maintenance role.
  • Knowledge of effective maintenance and Health and Safety processes and systems.
