Academic

Our boutique Sixth Form offers students a bespoke suite of A-Level options, Life Skills, careers and university advice.

Typically, at St. James', students study four subjects in the Lower Sixth and then, after internal examination at the end of that year, continue with three of these subjects to A-Level certification at the end of the Upper Sixth. Often students elect to continue with four subjects.

All Sixth Form students participate in a Life Skills programme, which includes the skills necessary for university life and the opportunity to complete an extended independent project (EPQ) on a topic beyond the confines of their subject syllabuses.

Sixth Formers enjoy a range of sporting, service and leadership opportunities.
