Our boutique Sixth Form offers students a bespoke suite of A-Level options, Life Skills, careers and university advice.

During A Levels, all St James' students study three subjects. Additionally, all Sixth Form students participate in a Life Skills programme, which includes the skills necessary for university life and the opportunity to complete an extended independent project (EPQ) on a topic beyond the confines of their subject syllabuses.

Sixth Formers enjoy a range of sporting, service and leadership opportunities.

The courses being offered in the 2022/23 academic year are indicated below. The finalised Option Blocks are given to students and parents in the Lent term of Year 11

In 2022 our A-Level Results were as follows:

A* - A - 8%

A* - B - 39%

A* - C - 58%

St. James' pupils successfully secured places at some of the UK's top universities including, The University of Birmingham, The University of Leeds, London School of Design, and Lincoln University. They will be studying a diverse range of courses including Law, Medicine, Maths, and History.
