Counselling
All young people face a range of challenges as they mature and progress through their school years. These challenges can be varied: school, social or home related, and could include difficulties with academic work, stress, depression, bereavement, relationships and coping with family tensions.
To support our pupils’ wellbeing, St. James’ pupils have access to a variety of professionals: School Nurse, Independent Listener, Chaplain, and an online counselling service called Kooth.
Kooth, from XenZone, is an online counselling and emotional well-being platform for children and young people, accessible through mobile, tablet and desktop and free at the point of use.
