Welcome to St James' School Website

Hello! Welcome to our St. James’ School web-site. My name is Susan Isaac and this is my ninth year as Headteacher of St. James' School.

We are a happy and successful Co-educational day and boarding school, founded upon quality private education and all round activities, from a fantastic Learning Support Unit to every kind of musical and sporting opportunity and simply fun clubs. As parents, we all want to give our children the best possible start in life and I sincerely feel that I have accomplished this for my own family, my four children have all benefited from the seamless education which this School provides for children from the age of two through to eighteen.

St. James' School caters for children of all abilities and all interests and here at St. James’ your child will be given the correct foundation from which to flourish and grow. Importantly, we believe in strong moral values, where respect, good manners and sound caring permeate through everything we do. We have even introduced etiquette lessons to enable pupils to appreciate how important correct behaviour is in society.

We are very proud of what we do at St. James' and I would welcome the opportunity to show you around. We are also absolutely delighted with the recent ISI Inspection Report, since it confirms that we are doing a really good job!
