Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching Business Studies to all the key stages through to GCSE and A-Level.
  • Creating an engaging, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Designing lessons that bridge theory and real-world application, using case studies and practical experiences.
  • Promoting creativity and entrepreneurial thinking across the curriculum.
  • Setting high academic expectations and fostering student ambition.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and pastoral care.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to support student progress and wellbeing.
  • Differentiating teaching to support students with SEMH and additional learning needs.
  • Staying up to date with educational developments and best practices.

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in business, Economics or a related field.
  • Has QTS (essential). PGCE is an advantage.
  • Be able to teach up to GCSE and A-Level
  • Has experience teaching Business Studies up to GCSE and A-Level.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and leadership skills.
  • Brings energy, innovation, and a passion for raising standards.
  • Possesses excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Has experience working with students with SEMH and diverse learning needs.
  • Keeps up to date with current trends in education and curriculum design.
